SR-2 Indicating System

Upgrade the capabilities of the hydraulically driven testing machine currently in your lab!

Tinius Olsen’s new SR SERIES INDICATING SYSTEM retrofit package is designed to easily and economically increase the capabilities and performance of older hydraulically driven testing machines, using the existing load frame.  

Each SR retrofit package features a SR Series Control Unit that includes a highly visible, backlit liquid crystal display; a membrane keypad for basic data entry; a Zeroing Key dedicated to provide one touch zeroing of the display; and a computer interface (serial port).  

Digital indication of Load, Load Rate and Peak Load is fully auto ranging and units are selectable (newtons, pounds, or kilograms-force). 

The SR2 Indicating System Retrofit further increases the functionality of the load frame by activating a graphics package that provides an auto ranging, real time LCD display of force vs. strain or deflection in addition to the numerical data. 

NOTE: Display of strain data requires the purchase of strain/deflection instrumentation.  The graphical output produces a scaleable, high-quality graph output or a hard copy of the graphics display and a test report to a PCL5 compatible, plain paper laser printer.  

An RS-232 high speed Serial port is also provided for interfacing with Tinius Olsen’s Navigator Software.

Tinius Olsen will install and verify the SR-Series retrofit package on site. Resolution is 30,000:1; Accuracy/Calibration Range - TO is able to calibrate testing machines down to 1/100 of machine capacity provided the existing weighing system is operating correctly.  

Note: Some machines (e.g. single pressure) may only be calibrated to 1/50 of machine capacity.  Repairs to weighing system, if possible, may be made for an addition charge.
