Low Cost MP 200

The MP200 is an entry level machine for determining the flow rates of thermoplastics and is designed for occasional use. The MP200 is a dead-weight piston plastometer that is used to determine the extrusion rate of thermoplastics through an orifice under prescribed temperature and pressure conditions, in accordance with ASTM D1238 and ISO 1133. It should be noted that the MP200 is a Procedure A (of ASTM D1238) ONLY machine.

The MP200 is supplied with all necessary tools for the loading, extrudate cutting, and cylinder cleaning tools, however, a calibrated stopwatch and weighing balance is required.
