Procedure B of ASTM D1238 version of MP600

This version of the MP600 has all the same features as the Procedure A version, but in the basic configuration of the Procedure B version, a piston displacement measuring system is installed. With this installed we are able determine the volumetric flow rate.

in addition to gravimetric melt index determinations and is compliant with the requirements of Procedure A and Procedure B of ASTM D1238.

The system features a robust construction with a simple leveling system, that can easily handle the heaviest loading weights. The microprocessor based controller and timer maintains the barrel spatial temperature to within +/- 0.25 oC  along the test area.

The machine includes all the tools necessary to perform the tests, except a balance will be required to weigh the cut-offs.
