These rugged electromechanical tension and compression testing machines feature Tinius Olsen straingage load cell force measuring systems. We offer a choice of two-screw or four-screw load frames and maximum frame capacities start from 60kN (12,000lbf, 6,000kg) for these special application machines.

All testing hardware is fully complemented by Tinius Olsen developed software that turns your hardware into a sophisticated quality analysis system. Be sure to examine our software products section to determine which package is right for your application.

We offer two series of specialist testing machines with the LoCap series and the Electomatic series.

The LoCap series are available in capacities of 12,000lbf, 30,000 lbf or 60,000 lbf and can accommodate larger frame widths.

We also offer the Electomatic series that have either a 2 or 4 column construction and incorporate loadcells in each loading column to accommodate any off-center loading. These Electomatic series machines are available in capacities of 150kN (30,000lbf), 300kN (60,000 lbf), 600kN (120,000 lbf), 1,000kN (200,000 lbf), 1,500kN (300,000 lbf ) or 2,000kN (400,000 lbf).
