Wire Extensometer - Scale Type

This standard wire elongation extensometer can be easily attached to wire test specimens up to 3/16 inch diameter, however, instruments that accommodate large diameter wire can be specially ordered.  Wire elongation is indicated on the vernier scale that has a resolution of 0.01 inch.  The standard scale, shown, has a 10 inch gage length.  Similar scales can be furnished for 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 inch gage lengths.
