New U series unveiled at SAMPE 2007 Baltimore  --   June 14, 2007

Tinius Olsen introduced their new U series of high force electromechanical materials testing machines at the 2007 SAMPE exhibition in Baltimore, MD last week. The machine was used as part of the bridge building and wing design competitions sponsored by SAMPE where competitor's entries were summarily destroyed to measure how strong the designs are. Tinius Olsen is about to introduce a new series of low force static tension and compression testing machines, specifically for the Brazilian market, at the upcoming Brazilplast 2007 show. See the machines on the Dinateste booth, booth P59, at the show.

Tinius Olsen launches new 3 station heat deflection temperature tester at NPE  --   June 5, 2006

Tinius Olsen is launching their new 3 station, low cost, Deflection Temperature Under Load (DTUL)and Vicat tester at the upcoming NPE show. This new machine shares a lot of the features of the popular model HDT603, such as friction free air bearings used on displacement measuring systems, pneumatically operated station gantry for raising and lowering stations from and into oil bath, specimen catch basket etc, but has just three stations, instead of the available six on the model HDT603.
